Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education is the Board of education for school-level education in the Indian State of Rajasthan. The committee is in charge of advancing secondary education in the state of Rajasthan. The Board started the first Secondary School in Jaipur under the name “Rajasthan Vidyalaya” in 1882, followed by other districts of Rajasthan. The Board was established in 1952. The Rajasthan Board issues and renews the transfer certificates and other academic-related documents to secondary education..

Rajasthan Board is also responsible for conducting exams at certain intervals such as 10th, 12th and Diploma courses. The Secondary Education Board, one of India’s major educational boards is in Rajasthan. It is responsible for administering and conducting secondary or high school examinations. The Department of Education has administrative jurisdiction over it.

The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education was established in 1952. The task of setting up its functioning was entrusted to a statutory committee called “The Rajasthan Secondary Education Committee”. There are more than 6000 schools affiliated with BSER from as many as 32 districts of the State. The Rajasthan Board manages examinations for the affiliated schools. Further, the RBSE Board conducts exams for Classes 10 and 12 twice a year.

The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education is a board of education that governs school education in Rajasthan state. The Board coordinates and supervises the administration of the school system. Functions of RBSE

• The primary role of the Rajasthan Board is to conduct secondary, senior secondary, and other state-level exams in Rajasthan. 
• To  ensure holistic development of students, competitions are  being organised at Block, District, and State levels by the Board. To develop the latest RBSE syllabus and the curriculum. 
• The committee is in charge of organising a personality development camp. It helps to develop self-confidence and a positive outlook among  the students. This camp aims at developing the communication skills  among the students. 
• The committee also helps to organise sports and cultural programs in schools. 
• The committee conducts examinations at school. . In case  of promotion or transfer in educational institutions, the committee is involved in all government jobs, examinations and appointments.
• It involves selecting the teachers for teaching jobs and appointing them according to their qualifications. 
• The committee’s role is to conduct state-level technical skills tests and recruit candidates for government department jobs and  private firms. 
• The Board conducts interviews for all government positions like clerks, peons, etc. In this interview the vacancies are advertised, interested candidates are  then invited for interviews and selected as per their competence and marks obtained in high school. 
• The committee is involved in setting up all  government high schools, secondary schools, and other state-level schools. 
• The committee organises  international competitions for students like International Olympiad on Mathematics, International Olympiad on Physics, International Olympiad on Computer Science and so on. . 
• The committee organises conventions and seminars to create awareness among students about national policies. 

Rajasthan Board Results 

The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (BSE-RBSE) was established on April first 1957, under the Rajasthan Secondary Education Act, 1955, by amalgamating Class-VIII boards and Prathmic classes of various local bodies after obtaining approval from the Government of India, New Delhi. The head office of the Board is located in Jaipur, and regional offices are in Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, and Bikaner.

The Board has made commendable progress over the past years in its function as a supervisory body for secondary education. The Board has maintained uniformity in the standard of education throughout the State.

After the commencement of the RBSE exams, the Rajasthan board declares the results. The results for Class 10 and 12 streams are  declared by the end of May or the first week  of June. Students can check their results online by visiting the official website. They can download their mark sheets  and also check the supplementary results are generally declared by the third week of September.. They learn about  their respective ranks in the examinations and their percentage based on the marks obtained in each subject.
