NEET Registration
From 24th May to 27th May 2023, the National Testing Agency (NTA) opened the NEET application correction window. The National Testing Agency (NTA) oversees the NEET medical entrance test, which is held for MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, veterinary, and nursing programmes. Therefore, candidates who want to take NEET 2023 must be conversant with the NEET registration process. The deadline to apply for NEET 2023 was May 20, 2023.

Procedure for NEET Registration 2023
The NEET registration 2023 is completed online in three simple stages –
- Online registration application
- Completing the online application
- Payment of the exam fee
Over the years, the registration process has stayed mostly unchanged and aspirants for NEET 2023 can use these procedures to register for the exam.
Steps for NEET Registration 20233
Registration
- https://ntaneet.nic.in/ is the official website of the NEET.
- On the webpage, there is a link to register for NEET.
- Select New Registration from the drop-down menu.
- After carefully reading the instructions, eligibility requirements, and information bulletin, check the box “I agree” to accept the undertaking’s Terms & Conditions and click the submit button.
- Fill out the online application form and keep track of the application number generated by the system.
- Create a password and select a security question to which you must respond.
- After inputting personal information, an application number is produced; use it to complete the following application process steps. For future references, the application number will be utilised.
NEET Application Form filling
To finish filling out the NEET application form, log in with the application number and password generated by the system. Then, the candidate can start filling out the application form and submit it by giving personal information such as the applicant’s name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, valid email address, and cellphone number. They must type the information in capital letters as it appears on the Secondary School Examination or comparable Board/University Certificate.
After the candidate’s personal information has been verified, they can submit their address and academic information. The applicants must fill out the following information:
- Personal data (Nationality, Gender, Category, Aadhaar number)
- Information about your birthplace (Address, State, District)
- Attempts from the previous year (if any)
- Contact details
- Candidate’s Residence
- Information about the parents
- Details about your education
Choose the medium of the question paper, the location of the exam, and the specifics of your academic qualifications before uploading papers and photographs. Other things to be uploaded are Scanned photos of the candidate’s latest passport size photo, postcard size photo, signature, and right and left thumb imprints. In addition, provide the following papers: citizenship certificate, category certificate, and PwD certificate.
Fee Payment
- Applicants must complete steps 1 and 2 before proceeding to the payment of the examination fee.
- Payments may be made via a debit/credit card, net banking, UPI, or Paytm account. Processing fees and GST are also charged in addition to the examination cost.
- The confirmation page of the application form will be produced after successful payment.
- For future reference, download and keep a copy of the confirmation page.
The applicant must provide a valid phone number, email address, and postal address with a PIN code. Finally, a NEET registration number will be produced when the application form has been submitted. This NEET registration number should be written down for future reference and use.
NEET Registration 2023: Important points to keep in mind
Before filling out the NEET registration form 2023, make sure you read and understand the eligibility requirements. Candidates should be familiar with the documents related to their residence and educational qualifications and always have them on hand. In addition, before they complete the NEET Application form, keep the following vital considerations in mind:
- The NEET application form 2023 will be available only in an online format.
- Candidates who fill out the NEET online form with incorrect or forged information will be disqualified. Furthermore, such applicants will be barred from taking exams by the NTA. Likewise, incomplete NEET registration forms and applications that do not follow the NEET notification will be rejected.
- Under no circumstances can the cost for the NEET application form be carried forward to a future examination or reimbursed. The deadline for submitting the online NEET application form and paying the application fee is cast in stone, and no requests for extensions will be considered. The NEET application form cannot be revoked once it has been submitted.
- The instructions in the NEET notification’s information bulletin are subject to change based on decisions of the NTA as well as other authorities from time to time.
- Even though a candidate has filled out the NEET application form and the board has provided the Roll Number and Admit Card, the NTA has the right to revoke any authorisation granted accidentally to any applicant who is not qualified to sit in the NEET (UG).
- The candidate’s NEET (UG) eligibility is just provisional. It is dependent on meeting the MOH & FW / MCI / DCI / Board / MCC eligibility requirements outlined in the NEET notice.
- In the case of uncertainty in understanding any instructions, terminology, regulations, or criteria relating to the determination of eligibility/conduct of examination/registration of candidates/information included therein, the NTA’s interpretation shall be final and binding.
- Video surveillance is also used to monitor the NEET (UG) Examination. During videography, candidates must keep their heads up and face the camera so that the examination conducting body can verify their identification.
- Candidates should visit the NTA official website daily for any new information or changes on the NEET notice.
NEET Registration: Application correction window
Candidates who apply for NEET will have the opportunity to make any necessary changes to their application form. In addition, the NEET application correction window shall be open for a set amount of time when applicants can amend any wrong information.
Corrections can be made in the following fields by candidates:
- The spelling of the names
- Uploaded photographs
- Instructional medium
- Preference for the location of the examination
- Details about your educational background
- Year of birth
- Other personal information, etc.
Process after NEET Registration
The NEET admit card will be made available online by the NTA. Candidates can download their NEET 2023 hall tickets using their login credentials. Candidates must print their NEET 2023 admit Card and bring it to the exam centre with all necessary documents. The admit card for NEET 2023 is only available to those who have successfully enrolled. Personal information, exam date and time, test centre address, photograph, signature, and other information are included on the admission card/hall ticket.
