JEE Advanced Application Form
The JEE Advanced or Joint Entrance Examination Advanced takes place after the JEE Main examination. The exam is conducted by one of the 7 Indian Institutes of Technology. The IIT Bombay is going to conduct the JEE 2022. The application form will be available on the official website of JEE Advanced. Students can fill the form from 8th June, 2022 till 14th June, 2022.

Fee Structure:
The following is the fee structure to be followed for JEE Advanced 2022 examination:

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates appearing for JEE Advanced 2022 examination must adhere to the following eligibility criteria:
- JEE Main 2022 Performance:
Candidates interested to apply for the JEE Advanced examination must be within the top 2,50,000 scorers (including all the categories) in B.Tech/B.E. paper of the JEE Main examination 2022.
The different percentages of eligibility criteria for various categories are mentioned below:
1) 10% for the GEN-EWS
2) 27% for OBC-NCL
3) 15% for SC
4) 7.5% for ST
5) 40.5% of the remaining shall be made OPEN for all
6) 5% reservation is in all the categories for PwD candidates
- Age Limit:
Candidates born on or after the 1st of October, 1997 are eligible for the examination. Additionally the candidates belonging to the ST/SC/PwD categories are allowed for a 5 years of relaxation i.e. born on or after 1st October, 1992.
- Attempts:
Students can attempt the JEE Advanced examination maximum 2 times in 2 successive academic years.
- Appearance in 12th Class or equivalent exam:
It is mandatory for students to have appeared for 12th Class or an equivalent exam for the first time either in the year 2021 or 2022. He/she should have Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as his/her subjects.
Candidates who have appeared in 12th standard for the first time in the year 2020 cannot appear for JEE Advanced 2022 exam.
But, if the board declares the results of the year 2019 to 2020 on or after 15th October, 2020 then they are eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced 2022 exam. They should fulfil the eligibility criteria as well. If the result has been declared before 15th October, 2020 then he/she cannot appear in JEE Advanced 2022 examination.
- Already taken admission earlier in IIT:
A candidate is not eligible to appear for JEE Advanced Examination 2022:
- If a candidate admitted to IIT earlier irrespective of whether he/she pursued the program or not
OR
- If a candidate gave an acceptance online or at reporting centre for his/her IIT seat confirmation
OR
- If a candidate’s admission was cancelled to the IIT irrespective of any reason post joining any IIT.
If a candidate has been selected for a preparatory course offered by any one of the 23 IITs for the first time in the year 2021, then he/she can appear for the JEE Advanced Examination 2022.
Student is eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2022 exam, if he/she got a seat in IIT through JOoSAA in the year 2021;
- But could not report at any reporting centre or online
- Or withdrew right before last round of seat allotment
- Or cancelled their seat right before last round of seat allotment
JEE Advanced Application form:
Students should check the JEE Advanced eligibility criteria before filling out the application forms. All the required guidelines for the application forms are listed on the official website. In case the applicants are not able to meet the application form requirements then their forms will be rejected. Students can start the procedure of filling out application forms by registering themselves on the official website. They have to provide their academic, communication and other required personal details. Additionally, applicants should qualify for the JEE Main examination to appear in the advanced paper.
How to Fill the JEE Advanced Application Form?
Students should note that the procedure to fill the JEE Advanced application process is an easy task if the candidates are adhering to the required instructions properly. Additionally students should also note that if they partially fill out the application form it will be automatically rejected.
Below are the JEE Advanced 2022 application form filling details. Students can refer them:
Phase 1: Registration
- Students should visit the website of the JEE Advanced 2022 examination
- Candidates can proceed by entering their JEE Main roll number along with the password for 2022
- Students should then choose a new password
- Then they will be redirected to a new page where they have to fill in their academic and required personal details
- Applicants should then provide the choice of cities where they want to give the exam. They have to also specify the language in which they have to give the exam
- Then students should save the details and move to next steps
Phase 2: Documents
- Students should upload high quality scanned images with scanned signatures in the JPEG format
- The size of the photograph should be within 4kb to 40kb
- The signature of the applicant should be within a range of 1kb to 30kb
- All other required documents must be uploaded by the candidates properly and their size should be between 50kb to 300 kb

Step 2:
Candidates should then mention their JEE Main roll number and date of birth.
Step 3:
Once the details mentioned in step 2 are verified students should generate a new password for the JEE Advanced examination.
Step 4:
Students after generating the password will be redirected to the application form page.

About JEE Advanced examination:
The Joint Entrance Examination or JEE is conducted in two phases. The second phase of examination is the JEE Advanced. One of the 7 IITs conducts the examination every year.
