Answer 9: On Saturdays, Hafeez and his friends in the boarding school were allowed to go to the town and watch a movie. So, he would collect money from 40-50 students and run to buy tickets. On his way back, he would eat to his heart’s content.

Answer 10: If his fellow students got involved in the fight and lost a shirt button, they would come to him for help. He would make a button for them out of chalk and thus help his friend from breaking discipline.

Answer 11: Hafeez had a friend named Behram Divecha. They would have competitions to draw the designs of forts, guns etc. They would try their best to draw something different.

Answer 12: Hafeez’s cousin’s husband was an architect. He asked Hafeez to draw a few things, and he did accordingly. Then the architect asked him to draw a plan for a house. Answer 14: Hafeez Contractor had nightmares about exams in Mathematics. He dreamed that he had appeared for the test but did not know anything.

Answer 15: Mrs Gupta advised Hafeez Contractor to be an architect. She was a schoolteacher of Hafeez. She used to teach him when he was in his lower classes. When Hafeez was in second or third standard, Mrs Gupta saw the sketches drawn by Hafeez. She exclaimed that Hafeez might be bad at studies, but he was good at drawing. So, she advised him that he would become an architect when he grew up.

Answer 16: Hafeez did not like their studies. He was more interested in playing games. He liked cricket and other games on the field. He used to be a captain of a big gang. He used to be pulled out of the class and would start playing. He was a big prankster too. He would be involved in gang fights and playing. His juniors would come to him to take his books because they were brand new. Every Saturday, Hafeez would collect money from the students and buy tickets for the movie. Thus, he had a memorable school life filled with playing and breaking the rules.

Answer 17: Hafeez Contractor did not like school at all. He was more interested in playing. So, he used to break a lot of rules. He used to copy in exams because he did not study at all.
