With the sudden shift due to Covid-19 in the education sector, integrating technology in classrooms is no longer an option but a necessity. Extramarks held a webinar titled “Happy Classrooms: Transforming Classroom Experience with Technology ” to look into the subject of transforming the classroom experience using technology.

who shared their knowledge on the benefits of technology, efficient classroom experience, importance of implementing sustainable technology and recommendations for transforming classrooms into a happy place for students.

1. Technology fosters Interaction and Productivity in the Classroom:

Technology has revolutionized classroom experiences by adding digital learning spaces and; students can now access learning materials in the form of videos, animations, and more. The webinar also included how technology has become accessible and how with the help of AI ( Artificial Intelligence ) and VR ( Virtual Reality )  enable students from any corner of the world to learn together. The pandemic accelerated the pace of transformation, and technology has become a crucial aspect of modern-day classrooms. The panellists in the webinar discussed how technology is transforming classroom and learning styles as well especially subjects like Mathematics have equations and trigonometry that has been made easier to learn with the use of technologies that helps in making classrooms  a more happy place to be.

The webinar also covered how engagement through online platforms has become prevalent, and teachers can now leverage different tools to make classes more interactive. With features like video conferencing, screen sharing, etc., teachers can conduct online assessments, provide personalized feedback, and track progress.

The panellists also discussed how the key to implementing sustainable technology in classrooms is to have a comprehensive plan, invest in reliable infrastructure, and offer continuous training and support. A well-thought-out digital strategy of the Ed-Tech agencies should be to empower schools and teachers which allows them to create a happy environment in the classroom and also amplify the learning experience and ensure that students are well-prepared for a technologically advanced world.

Now comes the role of digital learning through technologies, which aids in the basic clearing of the topics and provides students with the roadmap, and leads to the channels through which they feel satisfied. As a result, a classroom is said to be joyful when the learning is completed.
