CBSE Plans Two Board Exams A Year For Students From 2026-27

Big changes are coming for CBSE students! Starting 2026-27, Class X board exams will be held twice a year, and CBSE will introduce a Global Curriculum for 260 foreign-affiliated schools. These reforms align with NEP 2020, making education more flexible, student-centric, and stress-free.

The Union Education Ministry, led by Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, recently discussed these reforms with CBSE officials, NCERT, KVS, and NVS. The draft policy will be open for public consultation next Monday before finalization.
